Torbjorn Heggem, the new boy for Albion, and Ousmane Diakite visited The Hawthorns last week to get a tour of the facility and its operations. I was there with John Homer, the head of the supporters’ club, and Gary Hackett, a former winger, for the Football Memories Group, a program for fans suffering from Alzheimer’s and dementia.
We had just finished our group when we were informed that they were coming up, but we had no prior knowledge of it.
It was great to spend just a brief five minutes with the two new boys and hear them in good form. Both of their English was fine.
