Nikola Milenkovic ‘will soon sign the contract’ with Nottingham Forest and complete his move to the Premier League club, reports TMW.
Earlier this week we covered claims from Italy that Fiorentina had left it too long to sell the central defender, and should have sold him to West Ham previously.
Now, it’s thought the Serie A side are getting less than they otherwise would have. That’s of course fortunate for Nottingham Forest, who are believed to be getting the Serbian for around €12m plus potential bonus payments.
When West Ham were keen the asking price was sometimes put at more than double that.
Due to repeat transfer interest and Fiorentina’s stubbornness over selling him, Milenkovic is on a very good wage for the Tuscany club.
TMW report he’ll receive the same salary at Nottingham Forest, with the figure put at €3m per year. That figure is after tax and he’s said to be getting a five year contract.
Now it’s ‘addio’ to Nikola, and given the media has already been passed and the contract is to be signed, the announcement shouldn’t be too far away.
