Forest showing real interest in former Premier League winger
Adding to their front line has been something which has been clearly on the radar at Forest with numerous options being eyed.
This comes after Forest have received interest from Newcastle United in Anthony Elanga earlier on in the window.
But it may not just be for the £5m Brazilian who Forest look to bring in over the coming weeks with another winger said to be on their radar now.
According to L’Equipe, Forest are now showing an interest in the Marseille winger Ismaila Sarr.
The former Watford forward is a player which the Ligue 1 outfit would be willing to sell this summer having already considered him as an option in a swap deal with Villarreal for Filip Jorgensen.
However, Forest are not the only side to have shown their interest in Sarr with Crystal Palace also on the case.
With Marseille looking to sell, the 26-year-old is said to be excited by the prospect of a potential return to the Premier League.
What El Hadji Diouf said about Ismaila Sarr
It was not so long ago when the Senegal international was playing Premier League football with Watford.
Liverpool were even tipped with a potential move for the 26-year-old with El Hadji Diouf telling the Daily Mail Sarr could play for one of England’s top clubs back in 2022.
“He is a world-class player. He can play for Manchester United and Liverpool, anywhere,” he said.
The winger has been able to return 10 goals and six assists in his 50 Premier League appearances with the struggling Watford.
That tally could soon be added to over the coming months with interest gathering from English clubs.
