Leeds United have now made contact to sign a highly-rated attacker in the Premier League, who a former England manager said has ‘magical feet’.

Daniel Farke is looking to assemble a squad capable of achieving automatic promotion and has just added Jayden Bogle to help him in that quest

Crysencio Summerville and Wilfred Gnonto have been linked to multiple clubs elsewhere but at this stage, they remain Leeds players.

With that said, it has just emerged that the West Yorkshire club have made contact to sign an attacker to potentially replace one of the aforementioned duo.

Leeds make contact to sign Jesurun Rak-Sakyi

According to TEAMtalk, Leeds United have made contact to sign Crystal Palace winger Jesurun Rak-Sayki this summer.

It’s expected that one of Summerville or Gnonto will leave this summer and Rak-Sayki appears to be the number one target to replace them.

The 21-year-old is also of interest to newly-promoted Southampton, who have seen a £7m bid rejected by The Eagles.

Palace are eager to loan him out to the Championship rather than a Premier League rival, giving Leeds a great chance of landing his signature.

Rak-Sakyi enjoyed a phenomenal loan spell at Charlton during the 2022/23 season, netting 15 goals whilst laying on 10 assists.

The 2002-born’s record for Palace’s under-21s is also really impressive, scoring 24 goals and adding eight assists across 40 outings.

Former palace boss Roy Hodgson said he’s got ‘magical feet’.

“He’s got this ability, a bit like Michael Olise has — they’ve got magical feet, and they’re very clever at manipulating the ball,” Hodgson said via The Athletic.
