Hugo Bueno of Wolves is being pursued by Rodgers in an attempt to add another left-back, but there may also be changes in the middle of defense.
Swedish defender Gustaf Lagerbielke and Japanese center back Yuki Kobayashi do not convince Celtic.
Celtic is currently accepting bids for both players.
Lagerbielke and Kobayashi have failed to leave an impression on Rodgers or at Celtic.
Italy expressed interest in signing Lagerbielke during the January transfer window, but Rodgers prevented the move because of worries about his team’s defensive depth.
It’s unknown if Celtic would consider loan possibilities or are searching for long-term solutions for the two.
Stephen Welsh, a defender desired on loan by KV Mechelen in Belgium, is another player that Celtic is interested in.
