Apparently, Everton has agreed to sign Jake O’Brien, a defender for Lyon.
According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, the Toffees have agreed to sign the center back. O’Brien, 23, is rumored to be signing a five-year contract with Goodison Park, and his medical might happen on Monday or Tuesday.
“There is a principled agreement between Everton and OL, and O’Brien is prepared to accept the five-year contract that is being offered,” Romano wrote on X.
“Medical tests scheduled for this week may be rescheduled for Monday in order to finish paperwork before Sunday. Now let’s get started!
