Logan Costa of Toulouse was being pursued by Nottingham Forest and Fulham, according to a report from L’Equipe towards the end of the previous campaign.

In July, Il Resto del Carlino discusses Bologna’s pursuit of a defender and mentions Nottingham Forest and Fulham’s interest in the 23-year-old.

Arsenal will shortly acquire Bologna’s Riccardo Calafiori, although they will probably start the season without Colombian international Jhon Lucumí due to an injury he acquired at the Copa América.

As a result, the Serie A team has begun searching for a new center back, with Jaka Bijol of Udinese being mentioned as a potential candidate. Bologna is proposing €12 million, but they value him at €18 million.
According to the source, Bologna must pay this amount in order to sign Costa, but they will face competition from Nottingham Forest, Fulham, Atletico Madrid, and Villarreal, who are all expressing interest in the Toulouse star.

The Cape Verde international may receive “richer contracts” from the Reds, Marco Silva’s team, and the La Liga pair, it is further stated, than what Bologna has been offering the last several hours.

Costa’s contract expires in 2026, and Il Resto del Carlino does not specify which of Nottingham Forest, Fulham, Atlético, Villarreal, and Bologna is his preferred team.
