After a summer of intense speculation about his future, Leeds United is reportedly getting closer to a deal with West Ham. The influential winger, who helped the Whites to 21 goals and 10 assists last season, is reportedly edging closer to a deal with West Ham. With Summerville’s departure pending, the Whites are looking to bring in a suitable replacement. According to Turkish outlet Haber Ekspres, Leeds are ‘looking to close a deal’ for former Liverpool and Rangers star Ryan Kent.
The winger’s contract with Fenerbahçe expires in2027, but according to the source, manager José Mourinho “does not consider” him to be a part of his future plans. Leeds allegedly “sat down at the table with him” to begin talks after submitting a €3 million (£2.5 million) bid to attempt and acquire Kent.
