Crysencio Summerville’s replacement, Norwich City winger Jonathan Rowe, is expected to draw interest from Leeds United, as reported by John Percy of The Telegraph.

Summerville had a fantastic season for Leeds in the Championship before completing a transfer to West Ham United. Daniel Farke’s team will therefore need to find a replacement, and they have decided that Rowe would be a good fit.

Leeds would not have many options up top if Wilfried Gnonto leaves this summer, as he has also been strongly linked to leaving. Similar to Summerville, Rowe has made an impression in the second division of England, and at twenty-one, he still has plenty of time to develop to his full potential.

Percy of The Telegraph reports that Leeds intends to launch a £7 million opening bid in an attempt to lure Rowe away from Norwich. Although the two teams have had early discussions about a possible deal, there may be a difference in the two clubs’ assessments of the young winger.

Rowe, who has been described as ‘incredible’ by David Wagner, could be a like-for-like replacement for Summerville. The tricky winger is capable of playing on either wing and would add a creative spark and goalscoring threat for the Yorkshire club.

Given that Rowe is reportedly paid just £4.6k per week at Carrow Road, Leeds may decide to spend a portion of the proceeds from the sale of Summerville to offer the Norwich winger a competitive contract in an effort to persuade him to leave. Leeds may try to take advantage of Norwich’s lack of negotiation strength and wrest him away from the Championship club before his contract expires in the summer.

Wilfried Gnonto Wants to Leave Leeds

Three Serie A teams are reportedly interested in signing Gnonto this summer, and the teenage forward wants to go away from Elland Road before the deadline. These rumors originate from Italy. Parma, Venezia, and Genoa have expressed interest in signing him, although their goal is to acquire him through a loan arrangement.

Following an unsuccessful summer transfer attempt, Everton has re-entered the race to sign Gnonto. The Toffees are reportedly trying to finalize a deal with Leeds, according to Sky Sports, but it hasn’t advanced far as of yet.
