Leicester looks to have got a breakthrough in the pursuit of David Datro Fofana. The Chelsea forward is close to a move, possibly a loan with an option to buy.
This will most certainly trigger a chance for Tom Cannon to go out on loan, but as we said yesterday, very uncertain about what Fofana can bring to the table at this level, being played frequently during his loan spell at Burnley last season, managing 4 goals in 15 league appearances.
David Datro Fofana was massive for Molde in Norwegian football and also showing his skills in European games, but so far not been much a first team alternative at Chelsea. Uncertain about his close touch to be that treath up front that Leicester is searching for. His stay in Bundesliga with Union Berlin earler last season, resulted in 1 goal, playing 12 Bundesliga games.
A bit sad to see Patson Daka again being thrown under the bus by a manager, as Fofana surely will be in front in the pecking order, if not, this looks a strange one.
