The most recent reports state that Leeds United has made an official bid of £15 million to sign Crystal Palace winger Jesurun Rak-Sakyi. This comes after the Dutch youth international, Crysencio Summerville, was linked to the Elland Road player in recent weeks. Since then, Daniel Farke’s team has been linked to a number of replacement wingers, including Norwich City’s Jon Rowe, who withdrew from the Canaries’ squad to play Oxford United, raising further questions about his future. Marseille is also reportedly interested in the England youth international.
The news that Leeds is interested in Rak-Sakyi will cheer the Whites fans, but Nixon says Palace would rather move the winger on loan. The Eagles winger is reportedly desired by Sheffield United, Hull City, and QPR; last week, QPR was reported to have expressed interest in the player.
During a 2022–23 season loan with Charlton Athletic, the youthful winger became well-known after netting 15 goals and dishing out eight assists. He was selected the Supporters Player of the Year due to his excellent performance. The 21-year-old was brought back into the starting lineup for Palace at the beginning of the previous season, but a hamstring injury hindered his development.
