Roma and West Ham are negotiating over a deal for Tammy Abraham, and the Italians are open to selling for £20 million.
It would be an understatement to suggest that West Ham has been active during the summer transfer season. However, before Deadline Day, Julen Lopetegui is planning another signing.
According to Corriere dello Sport (via Sport Witness), Tammy Abraham is reportedly being discussed by the Hammers and AS Roma. The report also states that the Italians are prepared to let rid of the former Chelsea player this summer if a £20 million deal is made.
It’s also possible that the forward will get a loan with a conditional buy clause; however, it would mean he would have to sign a deal extending until June 2026 to remain in the Italian capital.
After appearing in just one minute of Roma’s season-opening game, Abraham, who had previously been a little apprehensive about the prospect, is now open to considering it.
