Cody Rhodes will defend his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Solo Sikoa in a Steel Cage Match to open tonight’s SmackDown on the USA Network.
After this encounter, on October 5, WWE will make known who Rhodes’ opponent will be at Bad Blood 2024 pay-per-view.
Roman Reigns has been promoted by the USA Network for the show, despite it not having been officially announced. It is expected that he will participate in the cage match to forward the Bloodline plot.
According to Pwinsider, there are plans for WWE World Heavyweight Champion GUNTHER to make an appearance on SmackDown; however, it is unclear if this appearance or a dark match would take place.
