At WWE Bad Blood, Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes will form a team.
Cody Rhodes won the Undisputed WWE Championship after defeating Solo Sikoa in a Steel Cage Match on the September 13th episode of WWE SmackDown. Roman Reigns returned and took the battle to The Bloodline as they attacked him after the bell. Rhodes and Reigns then joined forces to repel them.
Nick Aldis revealed backstage that although Rhodes declined to sign the contract, Roman Reigns had challenged Fatu and Sikoa to compete against him and him at WWE Bad Blood. Reigns entered the ring at the conclusion of the performance and handled the matter. He said that this was his WWE ring and that he was the one Tribal Chief.
That hasn’t been the case, Rhodes interrupted, since he defeated Reigns at WWE WrestleMania 40. They exchanged glaring looks, but The Bloodline eventually surfaced. Rhodes and Reigns engaged in combat with the Bloodline. Reigns signed the contract for the match at WWE Bad Blood after Rhodes and Reigns battled it out once again. With Rhodes’s signature on the contract, the match was officially set.
