At Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday, the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Cincinnati Bengals 26-25 to increase their record to 2-0. All eyes were on Taylor Swift despite the AFC rivals facing off in a close game that had a very contentious conclusion.
This year, the pop sensation is no stranger to Arrowhead Stadium, having shown there to cheer on her very public partner, Kansas City star tight end Travis Kelce. Fans were quick to express their support for the musician, especially with a celebrity like Swift in attendance. A fan managed to capture her response to a sign that was criticizing her. Swift was seen giggling in reaction to a Chiefs supporter holding up a sign that said, “We [Love] Our Childless Cat Lady and (87),” which was a reference to the singer of “Fearless” post backing Kamala Harris, the current vice president, for president.
Tuesday night saw the release of Taylor Swift’s endorsement of Harris following the highly watched debate between Harris and rival candidate Donald Trump. The sign-off on the post said “Taylor Swift, Childless Cat Lady,” a playful reference to remarks made by Trump’s running mate JD Vance on Kamala Harris.
The Kansas City Chiefs’ next home game isn’t until Week 5 when they take on the New Orleans Saints on Monday Night Football.
