. Mekhi Becton appears to be a great value as a right guard. Saquon Barkley, despite the dip, appears to be a stroke of brilliance. However, Howie Roseman’s major defensive measures in recent years are beginning to seem frighteningly poor. Jordan Davis, Jalen Carter, and Nolan Smith’s first-round picks, which were high for Davis and Carter, do not appear to be very promising right now. Carter had his dominant stretch early last year, and I still feel he’ll be a terrific player, but none of them have played up to their draft positions thus far, and it’s reasonable to ask when they will.
