Due to what seems to be a head injury, Nebraska Cornhuskers cornerback will not play against the Illinois Fighting Illini for the remainder of the game. During the second half, Hill was observed in street clothes on the sidelines.
Hill’s injury occurred during the first half of play; the Huskers were ahead 17–10 going into the second half.
Hill makes two single tackles before leaving the game. In the first half, Illinois receiver Pat Bryant beat him on a fantastic route run, which gave the Fighting Illini an early 7-0 lead thanks to a 26-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Luke Altmyer.

Against Colorado, Hill had 12 tackles going into the game in addition to an interception that he returned for a touchdown. It was the first pick-six for Nebraska since 2019.
