A club’s sporting director is ‘already working’ on a deal to make sure a Leeds United star signs permanently for his side next summer.

Following their relegation from the Premier League in the summer of 2023, the Whites experienced a player exodus on loan deals due to contract triggers.

The situation improved significantly this summer, as Leeds was able to sell some players who had gone on loan the previous season while also welcoming back others.

One of the players who did go out on loan once more was Rasmus Kristensen, who signed with Eintracht Frankfurt of the Bundesliga.

The German company offered a buyout option in the agreement, but they would like to lower the price.

Coach Dino Toppmoller of Eintracht Frankfurt is also eager to see that Kristensen stays with the team permanently, but he is handing off responsibility to sporting director Markus Krosche, who he revealed is already working on the matter. Fussball.News quoted Toppmoller as saying, “Markus Krosche has already recognized that. He is already working on it and does not need my expertise.”

He recognizes Rasmus’s significance to us as well
He battled through gastrointestinal issues and played a very strong game.
“Rasmus is very important to us because of his strength and energy.”

It is unclear if Kristensen will play for the Whites once more after spending the previous season playing for Italian powerhouse Roma.
