The Chicago Blackhawks, an Original Six franchise, are regarded as one of the most iconic teams in the National Hockey League.

However, they have faced criticism over their logo. Some believe it is racially offensive. Although some people think this, others simply don’t care or don’t engage with the subject. They proudly display the Blackhawks emblem and leave it at that. The team recently settled on a logo, but for entirely different, non-political reasons.
You may be aware that the Blackhawks have a strict policy prohibiting individuals from treading on the large emblem in the locker rooms. It’s superstitious and idiotic because it makes people go out of their way to avoid it. Well, the team has opted to remove the emblem from the floor completely. This eliminates the problem fairly neatly.

The logo is now on the ceiling, and only an insect can stomp on it. It was a bold decision, but in the end, the Blackhawks can do anything they want with their logo and branding. Players and the media can finally breathe a sense of relief. They no longer have to worry about making a very terrible but unintentional error.
