Christian McCaffrey, an All-Pro running back for the San Francisco 49ers, has been dealing with a persistent calf problem since training camp. The chronic Achilles tendonitis is the result of the calf strain. Having weighed all of his alternatives, he has made the decision to look for other opportunities outside of the nation. This week, he departed for Germany to seek a second opinion from an expert. McCaffrey’s journey was confirmed by coach Kyle Shanahan, who expressed optimism that the consultation will lead to a solution for the issue that has existed since August.

McCaffrey chose to rest his Achilles since he could not complete training camp. I’m assuming he’ll get enough sleep to heal his tendinitis and be ready for Week 1 of the NFL. But soon after, the pain returned, and on September 14 he was put on the injured reserve list (IR). He can make a comeback against the Seahawks in Week 6, but these kinds of injuries sometimes take a whole season to heal. being aware that there’s no schedule for his comeback.
