Vasco da Gama of Brazil has reportedly made note of Tottenham Hotspur striker Richarlison as a potential target, with a 2025 transfer mentioned.

Richarlison is supposedly high on the club’s list of players to add in the upcoming years, according to former Vasco da Gama striker Edmundo, who broke the news.

After leaving Everton in a highly publicized transfer to join Spurs, Richarlison has found it difficult to live up to the great expectations that accompanied his expensive price.

Because the Brazilian international hasn’t yet established a reliable routine in North London, there is increasing conjecture that his time at Tottenham may be drawing to an end.

The forward stayed with the team past the most recent summer transfer window in spite of these rumors. But a transfer can still be planned for the near future.

Vasco da Gama had big aspirations, which Edmundo clarified in an interview with CNN Brasil. The 53-year-old legend of the club said why the squad wants to add a few “heavyweight” players to bolster certain parts of the field.

A Tottenham player is reportedly a possible target for a Brazilian team.
He stated that one of those possible prospects was Richarlison.

“The plan is to add two or three heavyweight players and retain all of the key guys. Three: two for the attack, one for the midfield, and one for defense. Big and strong like Richarlison. I’m dreaming, but I promise things won’t be the same in 2025.”

Vasco da Gama appears committed to bringing in top talent, and Richarlison would certainly provide the team attacking flare and international experience. Vasco da Gama is eager to regain their position as the dominant team in Brazilian football.

Spurs may be ready to cut their losses if a big offer comes up because Richarlison’s performances have not lived up to the huge investment invested in him.

The athlete might be interested in moving to Vasco da Gama since it would provide him the opportunity to restart his career in Brazil.

It remains to be seen if Vasco do Gama would pursue their interest in the striker given 2025 is still a ways off.
