Simone Biles has had enough of cyber warriors voicing their opinions. The great gymnast, Monica Biles, sent a message to the people who will be watching only hours before she and the rest of Team USA’s women’s gymnastics squad take the stage with their sights set on an all-around gold medal.

The takeaway: quit making remarks about her hair. She actually advises folks to “JUST DON’T” if they have the impulse to make remarks about the hair of any black woman. Even though Biles finished the competition at the top with a small calf injury, her hair became a talking point after she competed in the preliminary round.

Currently, Biles posted a harsh message to her Instagram Story while traveling 45 minutes by bus from the Olympic Village to the arena: “don’t come for me about my hair.” YES, I confess it, she said. “However, the bus is extremely hot and lacks air conditioning,” she added.

“I’m going to hold your hand when I say this, the next time you wanna comment on a black girl’s hair,” Biles continued. Simply said, don’t.

Team USA will begin play against the remaining 7 countries on July 30 at 12 p.m. EST. See it live on Peacock or on NBC at primetime.
