Novak Djokovic may be done for the 2024 season after withdrawing from the Rolex Paris Masters next week.

Throughout his career, the 37-year-old Djokovic has performed well in Paris.

In addition to defeating Grigor Dimitrov in the final last year, the 24-time Grand Slam champion has won the Paris Masters seven times. In addition, the Serb won the gold medal at the Olympics in Paris this summer and the French Open three times.

Djokovic participated in the 6 Kings Slam last week in Saudi Arabia, where he defeated longtime rival Rafael Nadal in the third-place match after losing to eventual winner and world No. 1 Jannik Sinner in the quarterfinals.

Currently ranked No. 4 in the world and No. 6 in the ATP Race to Turin, he is 37-9 this season. He still has the option to compete in the Nitto ATP Finals, which take place in Turin, Italy, from November 10–17.

Djokovic may possibly decide to retire for 2024 and focus on attempting to win a record 25th Grand Slam championship in January at the Australian Open.

Through text, ESPN’s Patrick McEnroe stated, “I can see him going either way.” “His record in that event [ATP Finals] is incredible.” It seems to me that he doesn’t play the rest of the year.

The Serb is still focused on winning a record 25th major.

Before losing to Alexei Popyrin in the third round of the U.S. Open in August, he stated, “I still want to make more history and enjoy myself on the tour.” “I still want to encourage a lot of young people to play and watch tennis.”

“Those are a few of the reasons I continue to do so. Our sport is built on grand slams. They are “the” most significant tennis events in our history. Therefore, it’s difficult to play your best tennis anywhere else if you don’t become motivated and inspired to do so during Grand Slams.
