With reports that Ben Affleck and his ex-wife Jennifer Garner are reconciling, Jennifer Lopez worries that he has cheated on her.
According to the website Radar Online, the 55-year-old diva questions whether Affleck’s intimacy with Garner contributed to their marriage’s dissolution.
Since last August, when she declared her separation from the Armageddon star, J-Lo has been inseparable from Garner, who is the mother of his three children.
Last week, Affleck and Garner, both 52, were seen hugging while taking two of their children, Fin, 16, and Sam, 13, to play paintball in Los Angeles, sparking further rumors that they have rekindled their relationship.
A source told Radar Online: “J-Lo has found out how much time Ben has been spending with his ex-wife.
“She knows they’re close, but maybe she underestimated how close they are.”
A source close to the singer said “this is categorically false,” but our source added: “Naturally, she is wondering if their bond affected her own relationship with Ben, and possibly if he ever strayed while they were together.”
To add to the buzz surrounding a Garner and Affleck reunion, the 13 Going on 30 star has not been seen with her on-again, off-again boyfriend John Miller since February 20.
And Affleck, a known cigarette smoker and fast food lover, has been spotted working out hard in Los Angeles.
It was also recently revealed that Garner had previously been “scared to death of falling in love again” with her ex-husband.
She still has “trust issues” with the Hollywood actor after he slept with their children’s nanny, Christine Ouzounian, now 37, a decade ago.
A source said: “She loves Ben, but she’s worried that he’ll crush her again.
“She doesn’t want to heal another broken heart because it’s too much drama, plus she doesn’t want her kids to see their mother go through a second round in a bad situation with their father.
“Many things could go wrong if they meet.”
In March 2016, Garner detailed how her heart was “sensitive” after her 10-year marriage to Affleck collapsed.
While his romance with the nanny did not end his marriage, “it hurt,” he said.
Garner and Affleck, who also have a 19-year-old daughter named Violet, separated in June 2015.
The actress said she was as committed as she could be.
She explained: “It was a real marriage. It wasn’t for the cameras. And for me it was a big priority to stay in it. And that didn’t work.”
But the Daredevil actress asked people not to be too hard on Affleck.
She explained: “Nobody has to hate him for me. I don’t hate him. We certainly don’t have to beat the guy up. Don’t worry, my eyes were wide open during the marriage. I’m taking good care of myself.
However, her pain was evident, and she added: “I didn’t marry the great movie star, I married him. And I would go back and make that decision again.
I ran to the beach to him, and I would do it again. You can’t have these three babies and so much of what we had. He’s the love of my life. What am I going to do about that? He’s the most brilliant person in any room, the most charismatic, the most generous. He’s just a complicated guy. I always say: ‘When his sun shines on you, you feel it’. But when the sun shines elsewhere, it is cold. It can cast quite a large shadow.
