STATE COLLEGE — Sure, Penn State has been searching for production of any kind from its wide receivers for a long time. But, especially in the absence‘Everybody wants to go’: New Penn State wide receiver confronts team with the truth of Tyler Warren in 2025, the Nittany Lions will need a big-bodied, physical and consistent option for Drew Allar.

Perhaps USC transfer Kyron Hudson, with good reviews thus far in spring camp, can provide that in his 6-1, 212-pound frame.

The redshirt senior played three years of high-level football with the Trojans and alongside a handful of talented receivers. The numbers weren’t gaudy, but he had his most productive season in 2024 with 38 receptions for 462 yards and three touchdowns. There’s still a high prospect pedigree in his past, ranking as the nation’s No. 22 receiver in 2021.
