Hasan Çavuşoğlu, president of Alanyaspor, said, “We added center forward Ui-Jo Hwang from Nottingham Forest team to our squad.” In addition, he is one of the captains of the South Korean national team.

“I would like to thank everyone for their interest in me,” Ui-jo stated, beginning with our president. I was made to feel quite welcome right away by everyone.

“I will undoubtedly give it my all on the field, in practice, during the game, and wherever else in an effort to support the squad. I’m eager to get started on the team as soon as possible.

Ui-jo was loaned out to Olympiacos, FC Seoul, and Norwich City before moving to the City Ground from Bordeaux in August 2022. Since then, he has not participated in a single competitive match for Forest. Although it was anticipated that he would remain at Norwich for the whole season, his loan was terminated in January.
