Ipswich Town boss Kieran McKenna confirmed some unnamed players will face ‘judgement decisions’ as to whether they will be fit enough to face relegation-threatened Sheffield Wednesday tomorrow at Portman Road (3pm).
The Blues welcome the Owls off the back of last weekend’s late loss at Cardiff City, which saw Town concede twice in second-half stoppage time to fall to a 2-1 defeat.
Off the back of only their fifth loss of the campaign, McKenna’s outfit slipped to third place in the Sky Bet Championship table but could reclaim their place back in the automatic promotion spots tomorrow – with Leeds United not playing until Sunday and Leicester City in Emirates FA Cup action.
Speaking in his pre-match press conference today, the Town boss revealed late assessments to his team will be made before the visit of 23rd-placed Wednesday.
