Micheal Beale will no longer be the manager once Chris Jack announces his decision to fire him.
According to Chris Jack via Rangers Review, Michael Beale’s future at Rangers will be based on how well the club’s high-profile acquisitions perform this season.
The journalist said on September 8 that Beale has not upheld the board’s or the supporters’ faith thus far in the season, thus he would be reliant on his flashy new signings to keep his job.
With numerous roster voids that needed to be filled, Beale led their transfer campaign throughout the summer. The board has supported him, and it is now up to the players to fulfill their part of the bargain.
Have faith in the players and the system.
Instead of trusting in his preferred style with the players in their favorite roles, it appears like Beale has experimented with various systems, styles, formations, and players in an effort to integrate all of his new recruits.
Sam Lammers is the ideal illustration. Although he was brought in to play as a striker, he has so far been forced to play either out on the wings or in behind two other forwards, which has diminished his talents and limited his impact on the squad.
But Beale cannot be solely to blame. Simply put, his team has not performed up to expectations in terms of each player’s on-field performances. Despite appearing in every game thus far, another recent addition, Cyriel Dessers, is yet to register his first league goal for the team.
Despite all of the anticipation prior to the start of the season, the £13 million investment must begin to pay off soon or Beale may find himself out of a job earlier than anyone had anticipated.
